A reminder to collect Junior Cycle Free Book and core classroom materials in St. Wolstan's πππ:
- 1st Year Students: Monday 19th August, anytime between 8.30am - 6.30pm π
- 2nd Year Students: Tuesday 20th August, anytime between 8.30am - 6.30pm π
- 3rd Year Students: Wednesday 21st August, anytime between 8.30am - 6.30pm π
Please bring a small wheeled bag or someone to help carry your school books and core classroom materials. Might be the last trip for your 10kg suitcase before the October midterm break! π§³π§³π§³π§³π§³
REMINDER: Under the Junior Cycle Book Scheme, introduced for the academic year 2024/2025, Junior Cycle students will avail of a free specified limited list of core classroom materials and textbooks as determined by the school, in conjunction with the Department of Education. All school textbooks provided via this scheme will remain the registered property of the school, with students required to handle them with due care. Any damage to school property is destructive and shows a lack of respect for the school community, of which the student is a member. Students must not write on or highlight text in the distributed school textbooks under the scheme. Any damage to school property will be dealt with in line with the school’s Code of Behaviour, with reference to Sections 19.3 and 19.8 for possible sanctions.
Please note that the cost of lost/excessively damaged school textbooks is borne by the student and their parent/guardian. School textbooks must be returned in good condition to the school at the specified time communicated to students and parents/guardians e.g. end of 3rd Year Junior Cycle.
