DELE exam

24-May-19
DELE exam

Enhorabuena to the eleven Transition Year students who undertook the Diploma de Lengua Español Lengua Extranjera (DELE), on Friday 24th May. They are the first students in St Wolstan's to complete the A2/B1 course and were put through their paces in the Instituto Cervantes in the city centre.

The girls were tested in reading, writing and listening skills and then sat an oral exam, consisting of oral production and oral interaction. The DELE exam is run by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education in Spain and is internationally recognised. It is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.https://www.dele.org/ and the girls sat the A2/B1 level exam.

Many thanks to Señor Penón and María del Pilar Cosmo Gallego for accompanying the girls throughout the busy and challenging day.

The girls deserve many congratulations for attending weeks of additional exam preparation and foregoing a trip to Tayto Park with the rest of their year group on the day.

We wish you all very good luck - muchísima suerte - on receiving your results later in the summer.
