🎉 Exciting news for all book lovers! 📚🤓
We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of our school library with a fantastic collection of new titles and resources for students and staff to enjoy. The library is fully staffed at lunchtimes and available to all, providing a warm and welcoming environment for reading, studying, and relaxation.
We are honoured to have received some wise words from award-winning author Sarah Crossan, who has recorded a special message for all the readers and soon-to-be-readers in St. Wolstan's. Sarah is best known for her books for young adults, including The Weight of Water, Moonrise and One, for which she has won several rewards. As Sarah so eloquently puts it if you feel you are not a reader "the right book has not found you yet!" Sarah also encourages us to put our phones aside for 20mins a day and escape into a book. So, come and explore our library's shelves, and who knows, you might just find your next favourite read!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our hardworking students and teachers who put in so much effort to make our library relaunch a success. Additionally, we would like to give a special shout-out to our Parents' Association Chairperson John Lynam, who surprised us with the message from Sarah Crossan and some signed copies of her latest book for students to enjoy.
We can't wait to see you all in our revamped library, ready to dive into the wonderful world of literature. Happy reading! 📖😊
