Reminder: - Parent Talk by Fiona Foreman this evening at 7:30pm - "Supporting Your Anxious Teen"

Thanks to the Parent's Association, Fiona Forman, M. Sc. Applied Positive Psychology, will deliver a webinar entitled "Supporting Your Anxious Teen" for all Parents this evening, Monday May 16th, 7:30pm - 8:45pm.

The number of teenagers with anxiety has risen over the last number of years, for many complex reasons. Anxiety can have different symptoms, and usually causes distress and can also limit teenagers’experiences. It’s helpful to know that there are many things we can do as parents, including striking a balance between offering support whilst also empowering our teens to deal with their anxious thoughts and feelings. This webinar will outline the protective factors in supporting teenagers, as well as offering a number of evidence-based coping strategies to help them to feel calm, strong and confident.
