Student Wellbeing - tips to help you during exam time

ūüďöSome tips for students to help them get through the rest of the week:

  • Work from a daily study timetable, which strikes a healthy balance between your free time and study.
  • Work in blocks of about 30 minutes, with short breaks in between.
  • Target tasks: start a piece of study with a clear and realistic job in mind for each half hour block, e.g. 2 questions on the circle in Maths. You’ll be much more productive as a result!
  • Alternate between subjects and keep similar subjects apart
  • Work first, rewards later!
  • Be organised
  • Best not to have your phone nearby, unless you have to use it as a learning aid or to set a 30 minute timer.

Information on sleep, good brain food and resilience available in the images above. The students can view these every day on our plasma screens throughout the school. More advice from the HSE via this link: How to support your daughter with exams and study.
