Child Protection

The Board of Management of St. Wolstan's Community School has adopted and will implement fully and without modification the Department's Child Protection Procedures. The Board recognises that child protection and welfare considerations permeate all aspects of school life and must be reflected in all of the school's policies, procedures, practices and activities.

If anyone has any concerns regarding a child welfare issue in St. Wolstan's Community School, please contact the following:

  2. The Deputy Designated Liaison Person (Deputy DL): Ms. Anne Smyth, Deputy Principal

Academic Year: 2023/2024

New Child Protection Procedures effective from 1st September 2023 are outlined and signed by the Board of Management in the document linked below. Slight amendments have been made by the Department of Education, as per Circular Number 0036/2023,to the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools (revised 2023).
