St. Wolstan's Community School

Principal's Welcome

Principal’s Welcome

Welcome all to St. Wolstan’s Community School’s new website. It is my privilege as Principal to invite you to visit the website and hope you will gain an insight into the excellent broad education on offer in the school.

Founded in 1955 by the Holy Faith Sisters and becoming a Community School in 1999 under the trusteeship of Le Cheile, KWETB and the Archbishop of Dublin, St. Wolstan’s Community School offers an excellent education to young women living in the community of Celbridge and its environs.

Working together with all our partners, the Trustees, the Board of Management, Staff, Parents and the local community, we provide a caring environment based on respect, honesty, kindness and commitment. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while also offering a strong extra-curricular programme. All students are invited, encouraged and facilitated to participate in extra- curricular activities.

As Principal, my wish for every student in my care is that she would enjoy the best educational experience at second level in our school. I hope that, with the aid of my committed staff, I can provide this support while continuing to promote the highest educational outcome for all at St. Wolstan’s Community School.
